About the providers

Rachel Peabody RN, BSN has been a practicing nurse for more than 15 years. Rachel is a champion of holistic wellness. She began her nursing career at a Catholic hospital in Detroit where she worked on a cardiac telemetry unit for substance abuse and detox. During her time in Detroit, Rachel completed a program for holistic nursing to learn alternative modalities to help promote healing for her patients. While there, she learned about treating the whole patient: mind, body, and spirit. In 2012, Rachel transferred to a hospital that was closer to where she lives with her family in Fenton, Michigan. At this hospital, Rachel worked in the Emergency Department before advancing to the case management and utilization review department, where she worked as a float nurse, covering ER to ICU, Labor and Delivery to general medical, surgical, and cardiac units.

Dr. Todd Britt graduated from Michigan State University in 1993 and continued his medical school education at Midwestern University in suburban Chicago. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan in 2003. While at Genesys he served as the Assistant Program Director for the Emergency Medicine Residency for 15 years. He also served Associate Clinical Professor at Michigan State University College of Medicine for 20 years. His original research has been published in several medical journals and he has lectured at both regional and national conferences in Emergency Medicine. He currently resides in Lake Orion with his wife, Kimberly and their three children.

Misty Stanley, RN, BSN, brings over 20 years of experience as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN). Her career in healthcare began as an EMT, and she later advanced to become a licensed paramedic, a credential she still holds. Driven by a desire to provide more direct patient care, Misty pursued nursing at the University of Michigan, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2003. After graduating, she started her nursing career in an ICU in Flint, where she worked for one year before finding her true calling in the Emergency Room. Misty has spent the last 17 years honing her skills in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. In March 2020, she played a key role in the opening of a standalone ER in Fenton, where she continues to work full-time. Misty is excited to embark on this new chapter in wellness and is passionate about bringing her extensive emergency care experience to new opportunities in patient health and well-being. Outside of work, Misty enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, children and dogs. She values the connections she’s made in her community and looks forward to continuing her journey of making a positive impact on the lives of others.

What we offer & who we serve

Alive & Well Fenton offers a wide variety of IV nutrition and wellness injections. Our services are for everyone — the parent who wants to feel energized, the executive who wants a brain boost, the person who wants to lose weight and improve the appearance of their skin, or the life-of-the-party after a night of too much fun. We offer many wellness programs tailored to fit your needs.

What to expect during a session

Alive & Well Fenton is located in the heart of downtown Fenton, inside the Peabody Center for Well-Being. We provide a calming and clean environment for your IV infusion and wellness injection therapy. A typical IV infusion session lasts approximately 40-60 minutes depending on the ingredients. A typical wellness injection session only takes about 5-10 minutes.

Why IV and injections?

IV nutrition and wellness injections are used to deliver vitamins and supplements directly to the bloodstream. By bypassing the gut, the products are absorbed by the body at a greater rate, thus creating greater bioavailability at the cellular level.

What is the difference between IV infusions and wellness injections?

Some of Alive & Well Fenton’s products can only be given through IV, others by injection, and some can be given by either method.

The main difference between the two types of therapies is time. If you want to sit and rest, or lie down and relax, you may choose an IV infusion. If you only have a small amount of time, a wellness injection may be what you prefer.
